Massage Chairs at Work
When employees are happier, they are more productive, have a better attitude at work and even call in sick less. Adding one or more massage chairs to a work environment and making them available to employees, free of charge, not only helps to improve employee attitude and attendance, but productivity and profits as well.
In fact, when Fortune magazine names the top 100 companies to work for in America, benefits such as the availability of a massage chair in the workplace are one of the main factors they consider.
Although I have personally never had such a great perk in my workplace, I can’t help but wonder if it’s really all it’s cracked up to be. What about long line or fighting over the chair? Is there a cue?
