Thai Massage Therapy
Similar to shiatsu, Thai massage therapy helps to realign the energy systems of your body. Most Thai massage is done with the client fully clothed, making it ideal for folks who are a bit intimidated or scared of other types of massage which often require the client to be fully or partially nude. Thai massage uses gentle pressure on acupressure points as well as stretching and compression techniques. Thai massage can be very relaxing, but be forewarned, with Thai massage - you do not just lie on your stomach or back the entire time. The therapist will move your body into different positions. Many people describe Thai massage as, “Yoga, without the work.” Like many of the massage techniques available from a massage chair, Thai massage can offer a variety of health benefits, including stress reduction and improved range of motion.
